Connect power meter to 1A22J2.
c. Place control assembly in the CW condition and adjust
1A22 for 0 dBm reading on the power meter.
d.
Place the FUNCTION SELECT switch in the RF MONITOR
position.
e.
Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.
f.
Place the RANGE SELECT switch in the R1 position.
Place the FREQ SELECT switch in the 9.205 position.
g.
h. Adjust the RF LEVEL attenuator until the digital display
(DVM) indicates +2.500 ±0.050 per 3.5.9f. Record RF LEVEL
measurement.
i. Repeat step h for each of the remaining switch
combinations listed in Table VI.
j. Adjust the RF LEVEL attenuator until the digital display
(DVM) indicates +2.500 ± 0.020.
k. Without further adjustment, the digital display (DVM)
shall indicate as specified in 3.5.9g.
4.7.3.8 Video output.
a.
Perform initial conditions per 4.7.3.1.
b.
Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.
c. Place the FUNCTION SELECT switch in the RF MONITOR
position.
d. Remove the 50-ohm termination from the VIDEO OUT port
and connect an oscilloscope in its place.
e.
Adjust the RF LEVEL attenuator per 3.5.10b.
f. Measure and record the video output per 3.5.10c for all
positions of the FREQ SELECT switch.
g. Remove the oscilloscope and reconnect the 50-ohm
termination to the VIDEO OUT port.
4.7.3.9 Data signals.
a.
Perform the initial conditions per 4.7.3.1.
b. Connect DATA INPUT cable W4 to connector J1 on the
control assembly. Connect power supply to other end of W4.
