q. Repeat steps o and p with the FREQ SELECT switch in the
9.245 position.
r. Remove the spectrum analyzer and waveguide variable
attenuator from the open end of cable W5 and connect a frequency
counter.
s. Measure and record the clutter signal frequency for all
positions of the FREQ SELECT switch per 3.5.16k.

Connect an RF power meter to cable
W5.

Place the FREQ SELECT switch in the 9.229 position.
v. Set the CLUTTER LEVEL dial at 20 and FUNCTION SELECT
switch to RF MONITOR. Adjust RF LEVEL control for a reading of
2.500 ± 0.020 on the digital display (DVM).
w. Adjust the CLUTTER BALANCE attenuator such that the
clutter signal (CW) is -20.0 ± 0.1 dBm.
x. Remove the RF power meter and connect cable W5 to the
control assembly SELF TEST port.
y. Place the FUNCTION SELECT switch in the SELF TEST
position.
z. Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.

all positions of the FREQ SELECT switch.
af. Remove the RF power meter and connect a 20 dB coaxial
attenuator and spectrum analyzer to cable W5.

Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.
ah. Measure and record the pulse spectrum per 3.5.16n for
all positions of the FREQ SELECT switch.
