MIL-C-48605A (AR)
g. Place the MODE SELECT switch in the SELF TEST position.
h. Measure and record the attenuation of all harmonic and
spurious RF power for all positions of the FREQ SELECT switch per
3.5.7f.
Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.
i.
j. The pulse spectrum for all positions of the FREQ SELECT
switch shall be as defined in Figure 1 per 3.5.7g.
k. Remove the spectrum analyzer and connect a frequency
counter in its place.
l.
Place the control assembly in the CW condition.
m. Measure and record the self test output frequency for
all positions of the FREQ SELECT switch per 3.5.7e and Table V.
n. Remove the frequency counter and replace the 50-ohm
termination on the CAL OUT port.
Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.
o.
p. Place the FUNCTION SELECT switch in the RF INPUT
position.
q. Adjust the RF LEVEL attenuator such that the digital
display indicates +1.000 ± 0.020 for all positions of the FREQ SELECT
switch per 3.5.7.h.
4.7.3.6
CAL input.
a.
Perform initial conditions per 4.7.3.1.
b. Remove the 50-ohm termination from the CAL IN port and
the CAL OUT port.
c. Inject a low level (approximately -5 dBm) signal into
the CAL IN port at a frequency of 9,205 MHz ± 1 MHz.
d. Measure and record the insertion loss at the CAL OUT
port per 3.5.8.
e. Repeat steps c and d above with the low level signal at
a frequency of 9,245 MHz ± 1MHz.
f.
Replace the 50-ohm terminations.
4.7.3.7
