c. With the FUNCTION SELECT switch in the positions
specified in Table VII, and applied voltages specified in Table VII,
measure and record the digital display (DVM) per 3.5.11b.
4.7.3.10 Signal channel.
a.
Perform the initial conditions per 4.7.3.1.
b. Connect SIGNAL INPUT cable W2 to control assembly
connector J3. Connect signal generator to other end of cable W2.
c.
Apply signals per 3.5.12b.
d.
Measure and record the signal charnel meter reading per
3.5.12b.
4.7.3.11 Lock on signal.
a.
Perform the initial conditions per 4.7.3.1.
b. Connect data input cable W4 to control assembly
connector J1. Connect power supply to other end of cable w4.

Apply signals specified in Table VIII per 3.5.13b.

Record the LOCK ON indicator condition per Table

4.7.3.12 Elapsed time

4.7.3.13 Ranqe and phase insertion.
a.
Perform the initial conditions per 4.7.3.1.
b.
Place the control assembly in the Pulse condition.
c. Place the FUNCTION SELECT switch in the RF MONITOR
position.
d.
Place the RANGE SELECT switch in the R3 position.
e. Place the PHASE CONTROL knob in the approximate mid-
range position.
f. Adjust the RF LEVEL attenuator such that the digital
display (DVM) indicates +2.500 ± 0.020.
g. Measure and record the digital display (DVM) indica-
tions for RANGE SELECT positions R1, R2, R3, and R4 without further
adjustment of the RF LEVEL attenuator.
